Advice on how to log in in

On MPKK-Finna, you can browse collections even if you are not logged in. If you have a library card from the National Defence University or the libraries of the Defence Forces' military units (Urho), you can access the service while logged in:

  • view your own information
  • reserve and renew your loans
  • create favorite lists
  • save your searches
  • set alerts for new content in your searches

Library card login

  1. Log in to your account by selecting Log in from the top menu. From the top menu of the form, select Log in with Library Card.
  2. Select your library from the menu.
  3. Next, enter the library card number that you will find on your library card. Enter the PIN code of your library card. Then select Log in.
  4. You are logged in and can reserve and renew your loans.
  5. You can link multiple library cards to your account if you wish - both MPKK/MAASK and URHO library cards, if you have them both.

Have you forgotten your library card PIN?

You can request a new PIN code by sending an email to "Forgot your PIN code?" -link. If you cannot remember which email address is associated with your customer account, please contact your library.

Login with NDU HAKA ID

The NDU HAKA ID is intended for students and staff of the university.

  1. Log in to your account by selecting Log in from the top right corner. Then select HAKA Login and fill in the requested funet NDU HAKA login details.
  2. If the MPKK-Finna’s HAKA LOGIN account that opens does not have a library card associated with it, you will not be able to reserve and renew your loans.
  3. To see the library cards linked to your account, go to Your account -> Library cards.
  4. Link a library card to the account (see instructions for linking a library card.).

No library card?

Contact the library whose card you need. You can find the contact details of the libraries in the Contact menu at the top of the page. Please note that the Libraries of military units (Urho) only serve Defence Forces staff and students.
